Our program “Man-Talk” is a candid discussion forum about men. Here, we confront issues affecting men and family relationships. We have realized that it is time to disrobe and unmask the facades and clichés to which we have grown accustomed. Through the medium of education and open discussion we invite you to share your views and explore relational situations that has somehow weaved themselves into the very fabric of our daily lives.
The family structure has always been considered the foundation of our society, yet tragic situations and circumstances confront, shape and affect the lives of men.
It is an undeniable fact that men around our nation and throughout the world are hurting. Many are plagued by memories of failed marriages, broken promises, and personal calamities. Like a cancer, past events eat at the thoughts of its victim, eventually devouring them. Tragically, these leave deadly wounds and scars that are often irreversible.
Through Man-Talk combined with our fractured family series and other programs, this organization confronts issues affecting men, families and their relationships. Our goal is to examine and address topics such as insecurity, honesty, love and forgiveness, respect as well as other values that form the cornerstone for building wholesome relationships. It is our strong desire to bring relief and healing through the medium of education, open discussion and the belief that with God in someone's life change is inevitable.
I believe with all my heart that men lack some of the most vital elements for building strong secure lasting relationships. Experience has taught me that no one is perfect, however, I feel a sense of responsibility to assist in setting every man free from the bondage of sin and from the cycle of abuse and violence that has engulfed our families, our communities and our world today. I want to encourage men to take back what they have lost, strongly believing that through prayer and the study of God's word anything and everything is attainable.
